The Center for Visual Studies gathers scientists as well as post-graduate and graduate students who wish to participate in the scientific interpretation of today's visual phenomena. The Center's members and/or collaborators work on different research projects devised and conducted by the Center alone or in co-operation with other institutions in Croatia and abroad. Apart from its research-related activities on so-called collaboration platforms, i.e. through the co-operation with related institutions, the Center publishes a printed yearbook as a regular form of communication with the scientific and professional communities. The Center's collaborators receive scholarships and other forms of financial support for their research work conducted abroad, be it on the Center's own projects or in the framework of a joint initiative, and they are given equal rights in proposing and directing projects.
